Sam Aldridge is a glass artist and gaffer with over 15 years of experience working in collaborative hot-shop environments. His practice has developed through public demonstration studios, production teams, and international residencies, with an emphasis on clear communication and respect for shared studio spaces.

His work explores color, optical depth, and repeating patterns, drawing inspiration from the ocean, movement, and natural systems. Alongside form and process, Aldridge focuses on refining how he works by incorporating recycled materials where possible, reducing waste, and building a more sustainable studio practice over time.
